General Rules and Regulations:
- In order to buy a lottery or claim prize, your minimum age should be of 18 years. The exception here is with Video lottery and sports betting where minimum age has been increased to 21.
- Also in Delaware’s liquor store, they do not let enter any underage person in their premises
- The ticket would be considered as void if stolen, mutilated, unissued or altered in any way.
- Players have to check their tickets on their own before leaving the retailer’s shop
- All winning tickets are subjected to the validation by the Delaware Lottery team
- Any claim which is being sent to the Delaware Lottery will be processed within three to five working days
- Before claiming the winning amount, it is advised to write your name, address and phone number on the back of the ticket.
- Keno tickets can’t be canceled before next scheduled drawings. Also after the first drawing on your ticket, no cancellation would be made
How to claim the winning amount?
- You have to sign at the back of your ticket. It Multi-Win because it identifies you as the owner of that ticket for the legal purpose for future reference
- If the winning amount is less than $599, then it can be claimed by any Delaware Lottery retailer. Or you may also mail your ticket to the Delaware Lottery Office. You have to ensure that you are putting your name and contact details on the back of the ticket. A check would be mailed to you at your mailing address.
