North Carolina (NC) Lottery Results: Also known as NCEL or North Caroline Education Lottery was established in the year 2005 under the North Carolina state Lottery act. It is one of the youngest lotteries of USA and is governed by a commission comprising of 9 members. 100% of the proceeds from the lottery are contributed to funding the state’s education. Since its inception, it has invested more than $ 5.5 million of the amount. These funds are then used in paying teacher’s salaries, constructions of schools, college-based financial aids and pre-kindergarten schools.

50% of the amount is distributed in the form of prize money, 29% is used for funding the public education, 7% is used as the retailers’ commission who is selling the tickets and rest 4% in the
general administration funds of the NC Lottery.

What is Luckee Reward points?
It is basically another chance provided to the player to have a second chance to win.
How does it work?
- One has to sign in into the Player’s club and register himself as a new user
- Then you have to enter the valid ticket number to get Lucke reward code on the tickets. Once this step is completed, the second chance game will be entered automatically
- Use these points so as to get the entries into weekly and monthly drawings
How to Claim a prize?
- Amount less than $600: can be claimed via retailers, regional claim centers, NCEL Headquarters, by mail
- Between $600 to $99,999: by Regional claim centers, NCEL Headquarters and by mail
- $100K and more: can only be claimed at NCEL Headquarters
One has to ensure that they are signing their tickets before claiming for the prize money. It should be supported by valid identity proof, Social Security card and NECL Claim form
Also, scratch off games can only be claimed within 90 days from the date on which end date of the game is announced. While the draw games must be claimed within 180 days of the day on which ticket has been drawn.
